SQL Error on 1.4.9.2

Hello,

I am receiving this SQL error on my site. This errors seems to happen most often when the page takes a long time to load. If the error does not display the home page will load successfully. Error has been included in this message. Please advise how to fix.

that is a problem with your webhost. The error is exactly what it says it is. The script cannot connect to the database. If this error does not display all the time it is absolutely an error with the server and the responsibility of your web host.
