Hello,

I'm having an issue with the UPS shipping extension that came with Version 1.4.9.3

I setup the UPS account and configured the extension without incident.

When a user goes through the checkout process, the shipping extension produces the following error during "guest checkout step 1"; preventing selection of UPS as a shipping method.

UPS: 110108: Missing/Illegal Shipper/CountryCode

I searched for the error code/mesage on opencart.com --> no results
When I search the net in general, I get some oscommerce threads talking about the *user's* country code.

the country code for the guest user is sent to opencart as a number value (223). Could this number value be getting passed to UPS, and be causing the error?

I would really appreciate any help or advice on this matter,

Says "Shipper" country, not customer country. What country/zone/city do you have set in the UPS module configuration?

I realize that this was posted awhile ago, but wanted to supply my experience with this issue.

When adding the Country of Origin, make sure that you use the 2 letter country code (US) rather than spelling out the full name of the country (United States). If your browser has any kind of autofill (such as Google Chrome) it spells out the full name of the country when you enter in the city.

Seems silly, but at least it's an easy fix!
