Problem with "€" symbol

hi, I installed opencart_0.7.9-RC6.
I found a problem in the currency section: I need to impost euro value, but I don't succeed to write "€" symbol.
If I try with "€" symbol, in the catalog appears "?" symbol
If I try with "€" symbol, in the catalog appears "€" symbol.

How can I impost the euro symbol??

thanks!

Can you show me? It's likely an encoding issue.

Hello everybody.

I'm trying this script and I´m having the exact same problem
If I try with "€" symbol, in the catalog appears "?" symbol
If I try with "€" symbol, in the catalog appears "€" symbol.
The only symbol it works is $

Can any body help solve this problem?

Thanks in advance

I´m trying this on my personal pc and I´m not able to grant you access  :(, but I´ll upload the script to my host for a test and I´ll post the link here as soon as possible.

Thanks for your response.

It works fine with the Euro symbol in the final release of Opencart 0.7.9.

perhaps its an upgrade issue related to the database encoding for the table columns? Similar to this:

Perhaps updating the table encoding to utf8_unicode_ci would work?
