The Opencart Documentation tells you to create a subdomain, which I have done. My main domain is picturesonwood.co.uk and I have created a sub-domain for one of my add on domains personalisedgifts.net which is now gift-shop.personalisedgifts.net. I've set up this as an additional store in the settings but it just goes to a 500 internal error. What have I done wrong?

I've solved my problem now. For anyone else with the same problem. Once you've created an add on domain or a sub domain you must point the 'document root' to where Opencart is installed. In my case it was /public.html/

Now i want second store with one admin https://datastoppi.com/
I don't know how to change or what do to datastoppi.com that its point to tietokonetukku.fi opencart store.
I have look many information, but i didn't find suitable answer..Or i'm too stupid

Did you set up a extra domain in cpanel ?
normally that domain vill go to public_html/domain.com, make sure it is set up to go to public_html
when adding new domain in oc admin make sure a / is added after domainname.

This post is in excess of 10 years old and cpanel no longer supports addon domains, a recent DirectAdmin disabled all my addon domains, leaving me with just the main domain working. In the words of my webhost;
"A recent update to the DirectAdmin software broke the ability to aliase or park domains. You will need to properly add the subdomains as subdomains and redirect them to your main website.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.."
Anyone else experiance this or have the correct guide to fix please?

Sounds like you would need to add as subdomains and change the web root for the subdomains to point to the same directory as your main domain.
