They never really said anything, I go in the admin after a few clicks server can not be found, Call Host to unlock my ip.
All they say is it is to do with the script something that causes the server to belive it is suspicous.

I'm having the same problem and only when I'm logged into admin.  At first I thought the problem was with my WHP.  They assured me nothing was wrong at their end and when I couldn't access my cart, they could and so could others.  Each time immediately after I add an image or product, I lose my connection and am not able to access the cart, the site via the Internet or even through FrontPage.

After waiting sometimes for up to an hour I can get back into admin but the same thing happens again.  This happened on 3 different desktops and a laptop, using IE or FF and two different internet connections.  However, it only happens when logged into admin and only with version 0.7.9 RC 5.  I have another cart with the lower version and this problem never happens.  Any suggestions???

Thanks,
Sam

I'm being very cautous at this point. I read your post at http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/topic,2612.0.html about over-writing folders. However, after downloading the upgrade you mentioned and unzipping it, do I now highlight all the files in the upload folder (or the upload folder itself) and paste them into the folder I am currently using labeled bookstore?  Is that all there is to upgrading?

Thanks,
Sam

2. Rename config.php to myconfig.php and admin/config.php to admin/myconfig.php

3. Upload new files and folders. - I assume this means everything which I just unzipped.

4. Restore a copy of config.php and admin/config.php - I assume these are the ones from the backup I made.

Are any images and/or products or changes I've made to the templates or default.css going to be lost or changed to the original?

Thanks,
Sam

None of your database items will be affected.

Your template should not be affected if you followed the FIRST RULE.

However, some of the default template files have changed, so you might need to upgrade them by copying them over from the default template to your template.

But don't worry about that for now.

OK, I've created a new folder called mytheme, copied everything inside the template/default folder and pasted it in the mytheme folder and I've done this, 'Admin->Configuration->Setting->Shop tab' and set the template to the new one (mytheme).

I will now change config.php to myconfig.php in both places and then copy/paste all new files into the folder I'm currently using named bookstore.  However, I don't understand how pasting both new config.php files into my bookstore folder will not over-write both of the myconfig.php files.  ???

Upgrade completed and the site is (was) still working.  However, I still have the same problem.  After logging into admin, I inserted one image with no problem but after adding the second image and clicking on save, I lost my connection to admin, the site and thru FrontPage.

What now???
