Hi!

I did a search for this, but I couldn't find anything (so please forgive me if I'm asking something already answered).

I just upgraded from 1.3.2 to 1.4.9.3, and everything is working great. I've noticed the new feature in the admin section that shows the stock status of each product with a color (green, orange, red..) and I was wandering if and how could I use it to show it colored in the product page in the catalog area too! I mean, something like that:

Price: CHF 85.90
Availability: In Stock
Model: 509069-89/93
Manufacturer: FIAT
Average Rating: Not Rated

Any idea?

I would also like to know about this.

The easy way is to edit the template-->product-->product.tpl, find the bit that shows stock, and apply a style in the color you want. I did that so it was noticeable if something was out of stock. Of course that means it's always that color no matter the stock but if you just want it to stand out, this will work.
