Hi guys, bit of a noob on open cart but I have my store up and running with a few different extensions installed etc.

Is it possible to use open cart as my central stock control system and get it to update my amazon and eBay stores?

Many thanks

Hi Kev,
Yes, this is possible. We are currently working on a pro version of our Order Sync extension which will also manage your stock levels.

The main issue with this is that when you list an eBay item, eBay assigns an item number and doesn't give you the option to assign an SKU code - the only way to assign an SKU is through the API.

Once your listings have SKU codes attached then your stock controll becomes a dream, I have had issues as a large eBay seller managing stock i.e. 100 in stock, sell 10 on the website but 100 still listed on eBay - potentially 10 negative sales!. The Pro version is looking to handle all of that problem for you by updating stock levels and also ending a listing if you have no stock.

If you need any help or have any questions just let me know!

Sorry if I'm dragging this thread up, but it saved starting a new one. This feature is something I'm interested in, will your extension (or a similar one) also cover Amazon, or is it purely eBay for now?
