What does the following mean:

Error: Table 'southwoodsbookstore_com_-_bookstore.setting' doesn't exist
Error No: 1146
select * from setting where type = 'catalog' or type = 'global'

I installed the latest version, entered the db info in the required fields in config.php. and then this from http://www.southwoodsbookstore.com/bookstore

Thanks,
Sam

It means you didn't do something right.
If you ran the installer, you have no need to manually edit config.php.
But you DO have to create the database BEFORE running the installer so the installer can configure it automatically.

That I didn't do something right is an understatement but I discovered what it was.  I'm in the admin now and have deleted the install folder.  However, I'm using an older style control panel for my website which has the following for Permissions:

Owner            Group          Others
Read              Read          Read
Write
Execute

Are these the correct settings for Make 'config.php' unwritable (chmod go-w) and Make 'admin/config.php' unwritable (chmod go-w).

Thanks,
Sam

I think you can remove the Execute on the owner and just have Read Write for that and that is 644 (i think)
