I created a store on a domain www.yoursite.co.uk
and noticed in the admin panel it says create a store so installed another copy of open cart on www.yoursite.co.uk/newstore/
But it adds, but when i edit it in the panel on the main nothing happens on the other store
whats the feature for and what does it do?
what do i need to do to get it working?

you don't actually install another copy to use the feature. you simply point the new domain to the same install and create a new store in the admin with that new domain name.
