It has been suggested by the bank that i use 3D secure when processing transactions. What needs to be done to allow this?

I have enabled it from within sagepay admin, but i assume something will need to be done to opencart as well?

Can anyone shed any light on this, and advise what needs to be done, and if so the extent of the work. As far as i know this is becoming/already is compulsary for certain transactions in the uk, so i'd like to get this working if possible.

Have SagePay confirmed 3D Secure has been added to your account? We as a Payment Gateway will add 3D Secure on behalf of a merchant when they request it. Basically, we contact Visa/MasterCard and get the merchant account added for the scheme. Once confirmed, we add the details in to the back-end of our pay page so that nothing is required on the shopping cart side. You may want to check with your Payment Gateway that this has been done.

I enabled it within sagepay admin, but because i use sagepay direct, it appears it has to be coded my end rather than sagepays end.
I guess if i used sagepay form, it would alleviate this, but i prefer to use direct.
