[RELEASED] Free Downloads

OpenCart allows you to add downloads to your product, but user can download them only after purchasing the product. But what if you need to let your customers download the files even without purchasing the product?

Here comes the Free Downloads extension!
This extension allows you to mark download as free. Free downloads can be downloaded from product page even without purchase.

Free downloads are marked with text (free) in list of downloads on product edit page in administration. Text can be changed in language file.

Extension adds new tab on the bottom of product page with list of all downloads assigned to product and marked as free. Downloads in list are paged using standard OpenCart paginator.

Hi!

I just purchased this, but I can't make it work. I tried to make a VQMod file for this, but it doesn't work.

I ran install.php (with succes) after uploading it to root, I made a new Download and set it to one product, but it doesn't appear in that product's page.

"Allow Downloads" is enabled in Admin. I'm using Open Cart 1.4.9.3

Any idea why it wouldn't appear in product page? What can I check?
How can I enable (at once) this download for every product?

For other readers: We have already solved this issue (the problem was Lao didnt read instructions how to make XML file for VQMod carefully)

I will add the XML file to the package you can purchase tomorrow and it will be sent to all customers, that have purchased the extension without XML and ask for it.

Lao is NOT ALLOWED to send it to no one. Its the same asi he would offer the extension itself. Its COMMERCIAL extension, and this would be breaking the terms of use!

Initially I posted the file without thinking, but I deleted it after 30-40 seconds, after I realized what I did.
I know I delete it. Sorry for any inconvenience, I deleted it very fast.

So i managed to purchase product free downloads and copies as per instructions all the files to the root (Overwriting the specified filed).
1) I dont see the module under the extensions / module - is their supposed to be a module called product free downloads ?.
2) If i go to the catalogue / products and edit a product, then click on the "Files to free download" tab, to enter a free download file. i get the following error -
Error: Could not load template /home/allsteam/public_html/admin/view/template/common/downloadmanager.tpl!

I went back to the downloaded .zip file and their is no indication of that file "downloadmanager.tpl" anywhere.
Im running Version 1.4.9.3 of opencart...
Assistance would be much appreciated.

I find it under Catalog/Downloads, in Admin.
