I am having problems trying to configure the settings on my cart. First, I cannot even see the image edit buttons so I can add my images. Secondly, I want to add my Business Name and slogan, but cannot see where I can do that. Thirdly, where do I change the settings so as to receive payment through my account? Please help, this is frustrating.

1. I'm not sure what you mean by image edit buttons. Images currently work on a "pool" system. To add images goto the admin panel under catalog->images and click "insert". Insert your image there and save to upload. Do as many images as you like. Then under catalog->product you can insert new products and choose from the image list. This will likely change in the next version to be a lot more simplified and organized
2. the current logo is set in the catalog/template/default/css/default.css file (search for logo.png) that has the image and slogan on it. just replace that path with the path to your logo
3. Paypal setting is under Extensions->Payment. Click on the "wrench/spanner" icon for Paypal and change the email
I also hope you found the latest version of 0.7.9 and not 0.7.8. I would recommend you start fresh with 0.7.9 if you aren't.
