Automatic Tracking Update/E-mail

I don't know if this is possible. I hope someone can do this. I'm looking for an extension that can check for the status of shipped orders from the shipping company's information and send an update e-mail to the customer. For example, if a customer's order has shipped, and the item has reached a processing building in Chicago, an e-mail would be sent to the customer letting them know their package is in Chicago.

Yes this can be done using custom php integration with the shipping company's API.

Btw which shipping provider are you using ?
