Adding a product through the admin section

hi, i deleted the sample products from the cart and i went to add my own, name description then i went through all the tabs from left to right when finished i saved, but no product appeared? any idea?

You need to set the product's "Status" to "Enabled" (under the "Data" tab). You also need to attach it to a category (under the "Category" tab.

Actually the category thing is optional

You just need to
- Add a Product title for each installed language
- Add a Product Description for each installed language
- Add a model number
- enabled it
