Hello everyone

I have just started digging in to OpenCart, and so far i am very impressed with how easy it is to use, but there is one area that i am trying to work out, and wondered if someone could give me some advice.

I would like to set two separate flat rate shipping charges for different GeoZones. The first being the UK and the second is Germany, is this option available? I have had a look through the shipping Extensions, and can't find any options like that?

Thanks for any help that can be offer.

Welcome to opencart!

As I see this is your first forum experience, Allow me to show you the link to the search page
http://forum.opencart.com/search.php

After performing a search on a popular term like "Mutiple Flat rate", you will end up with a result page something like this:

http://www.google.com/search?q=Multiple ... encart.com

Feel free to click any of those links that sound like they may be what you are looking for.

Enjoy! :)

Dear Qphoria,

Can you help me please? I understand. But what can I do if my shipping rate includes 2 prices, I mean that the buyer pay when he gets the goods. It means that he have to pay for the post charge and for the act he pays after posting the goods. It means that I need prices for simple post charge and for extra cost as well that the customer can combine depending the payment method. If he pays by bank transfer theres is a simple post charge. it is ok. But there are many times when he pays after goods delivered. By this way the post charge is the same like at bank transfer + additional charge for paying when the goods dekivered...

example:
shipping to Budapest - 5 USD (payment in advance)
shipping to other - 10 USD (payment in advance)
CASH on Delivery - 3 USD

It means Budapest + CDO = 8 USD
other + CDO 13 USD

no summary, is there any solution?

For multiple flat shipping rates, you can use my Multi Flat Rate Shipping module.

To charge a fee based on the payment type, you can use the Multiple Payment Fee module.

All language aspects should be in the /catalog/language/YOURLANGUAGE/ folder. (Where "YOURLANGUAGE" is probably "hungarian".) The sentences that are used in the order confirmation e-mail are located in:

/catalog/language/YOURLANGUAGE/mail/order_confirm.php

If they're not there, trying searching around in the /catalog/language/YOURLANGUAGE/ folder for the sentences you want. You can also look in:

/admin/language/YOURLANGUAGE/mail/order.php

That contains the language for the order update e-mails.

Dear Johnathan,

Really thank yu for your help, it works perfectly. I hope not problem, if I disturb you again, please?
I rewrited the hungarian words, they are ok. But I still have 2 additional problems.

1. In the basket, when I rewrite the button "update" (from hungarian word "beváltás" to " frissítés"), and I push the button, the following error message comes on the screen:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/clients/client259/web459/web/catalog/language/hungarian/hungarian.php:1) in /home/www/clients/client259/web459/web/system/engine/controller.php on line 27

what can I do to work this, please?

2. The other problem is this: when I open the website, the latest produst comes firstly. The header in hungarian is "LEGÚJABB TERMÉKEK" , but next ti this words there is "TEXT_PRODUCTS", and I'm not able to remove this. Can you help me please?

Really thank you for your help in advance,

Tamás

I'm not sure on the first one. The second one means the language file for that page/module isn't specifying $_['text_products']

You should probably start new threads with these problems (in General Support) and see if anyone else has any ideas, rather than replying in this topic.

Jonathon,

I bought your mod and it seems to be doing everything it should.

Just one problem.

The Flat Rate option comes up first at Zero and that is not an option.

The three I want for the US come right beneath the Free Flat Rate, but I have Flat Rate disabled in the Shipping Extensions section. Everything is disabled, but Flat Rate Free is always on top.

I have 3 zones, US, AK and HI and Canada. All three start with Flat Rate Free and with Canada at $30 or Free, which do you think they will choose?

I also get this error message at the top of the screen, although everything still works (except the free being there) -

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/cuteday/public_html/catalog/model/shipping/multiflatrate.php on line 62Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/cuteday/public_html/catalog/model/shipping/multiflatrate.php on line 64

Please help!

Pete, can you e-mail me your site address and admin login details? I'll take a look and see if I can figure out the problem.

For the record: Jonathon got it straight in just a minute. I had neglected to undo All Zones, so it was my ignorance, not his mod. :)
