[SOLVED] Mail Problems

Hi.

I have 3.0.2.0

I am trying to end a mailout to my customers but keep getting an 'error' message.
I have checked the correct protocols, passwords, SMTP etc.
Obviously, I have done or not done something!

I have..
SMTP
NO parameters
stmp host: mail.mydom.com
User: sales@mydom.com
pwd
465
SMTP timeout 5

When I send, it says 'Loading' then gives the error message below

www.mydom.com says error

When I choose 'Mail' instead of SMTP, It says on a green backing, Sent 0 of 0'

What else should I try please?

Check both the PHP error log and the OpenCart error log to see it the actual error is in there.

Your SMTP hostmane may need ssl:// in front if using port 465. You could also increase the timeout.

Went to do those suggestions and thought I'd try once more.. and Murphy's Law, it worked.
So still not sure why it didn't as I did try the same protocols before. Anyway.. all good now.
