Hello OpenCart community,
I'm facing a critical issue where product images are not displaying correctly on my category pages. Instead of the product thumbnails, I'm seeing broken image icons. Strangely, the full product images display correctly when I navigate to the individual product pages.
My OpenCart version is 3.0.3.8.
Here's a breakdown of what I've checked and tried so far:
Cache Clearing: I've cleared all caches, including the OpenCart modification cache, theme cache (if applicable), and my browser cache.
Image Paths in Admin: I've verified that the product images are correctly uploaded and associated with the products in the admin panel (Catalog > Products > Edit > Image). The image paths appear to be correct (e.g., catalog/demo/apple_cinema_3.jpg).
config.php Settings: I've checked both my admin and store config.php files to ensure the HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER paths are correct (e.g., http://www.yourdomain.com/ and https://www.yourdomain.com/).
.htaccess File: I haven't recently modified my .htaccess file, but I've checked it for any unusual rules that might be affecting image loading.
Theme: I'm currently using the Journal3 theme. I've also temporarily switched back to the default OpenCart theme to see if the issue persists, and the issue does NOT persist on the default theme.
Recently Installed Modules/Extensions: I recently installed the following modules/extensions: "Product Option Image PRO" and "Related Products Manager". I have tried disabling them one by one to see if any of them are causing a conflict, and disabling "Product Option Image PRO" seems to resolve the issue.
Browser Console: I've checked my browser's developer console for any errors related to image loading (e.g., 404 Not Found errors), and I'm seeing 404 errors for the image thumbnails specifically on the category pages. The URLs seem to be pointing to a slightly different path than where the actual images are located.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem with Journal3 or the "Product Option Image PRO" extension, or can anyone point me towards potential solutions? It seems like there might be a conflict or a setting within the theme or extension that's causing this.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is impacting the visual presentation of my store.
Thank you!
