Hello,

I'm trying to connect my OpenCart store to the Marketplace API, but I'm encountering an issue.

I registered my store at opencart.com and received an API key.
The API key provided is 512 characters long, but OpenCart only allows keys between 64 and 256 characters in the admin panel.
When I enter the API key and username in the Marketplace API settings, I get the error:
"Signature hash does not match"

I have:

Verified that my store is properly registered on OpenCart.com.
Enabled API access and whitelisted my IP.
Checked my OpenCart database (oc_setting table) to confirm that config_marketplace_api is correctly stored.
Cleared OpenCart cache and refreshed modifications.
Tried regenerating the API key multiple times.
Despite all this, I still can't connect to the marketplace. Is there a known fix for this issue? Does OpenCart require a shorter API key format, and if so, how can I generate one that works?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why not go directly to the OpenCart marketplace and find your wanted extensions from there? Besides, OC 4.1.0.0 has quite a number of known bugs, reported on github, and shouldn't be used for a stable live website yet. For a stable release, use OC 3.0.4.0, or wait for the upcoming 4.1.0.1.

Thank you for your response. I understand that OC 4.1.0.0 has known bugs, but my issue is specifically with the API not working correctly. Even after following the setup instructions, I cannot get API authentication to function as expected.

If a feature is included in the platform, it would be nice to be able to use it properly. Do you know if there is a specific fix or workaround for this in OC 4.1.0.0? Or is API functionality one of the known issues in this version?

I appreciate any insights you might have!

As above, at this point most of the top developers recommend 3.0.4.0.
