Hi there
I just tried to upgrade from OC3 to OC4.
The process as such worked fine but trying to visit the shop (store front or admin), I am getting the following error:

Code: Select all

Error: Class "Twig\Loader\FilesystemLoader" not found File: /html/oc/system/library/template/twig.php Line: 36 Backtrace: 0 File: /html/oc/system/library/template.php Line: 30 Class: Opencart\System\Library\Template\Twig Function: __construct Backtrace: 1 File: /html/oc/system/framework.php Line: 182 Class: Opencart\System\Library\Template Function: __construct Backtrace: 2 File: /html/oc/index.php Line: 20 Function: require_once
see: shop.enduroforum.eu

For testing purposes, I installed OC4 all fresh into an empty folder. Here, the error is not present and the shop runs just fine.

Any idea on what could have caused the above error when trying to upgrade?
When I say upgrade, I uploaded the content of the INSTALL folder and overwrote everything on the server but the two config files.

Don't use the upgrade feature, it almost always fails. Besides, you haven't provided the exact details, see forum rules, such as exact OC versions. OC 4.0.2.3 is not stable enough for a live site, OC 4.1.0.0 still has a number of known bugs, too, wait until at least the upcoming 4.1.0.1. Or use OC 3.0.4.0 which currently is the most stable version for live sites.

A poor decision at this point. Stick with 3.

1. Don't make up random version numbers.
2. Don't use OC 4 yet.
