Hi,

I do fresh installation of Opencart 4.0.2.3 and i have few problems. One of them is with SEO URL. After activating SEO URL in settings, the URL gives errors and adds ?route=product/product&language=bg after the SEO link

As you will read over and over gain on the forum, OC4 is not suitable for commercial sites.
OC3.0.4.0 is compatible with php8 and is available for download here https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... ad/history

Nevertheless the various answers can be found on a google search to highlight three of these

I have read a thousand times that it is not recommended for a production environment, but I am just interested in whether anyone has a solution to the problem, since the future is in this version, not the last one. The site we are developing is new and we have time to do it, it is not urgent, but we are trying to clean up such errors and then upgrade easily to 4.1. when it is ready. Migration between versions has always caused problems so far and we want to avoid this.

As long as it is "informed consent" as it were thats fine - it helps the community for people to use it that know what they are doing.

I believe that the posted solutions above do work.
Please try them and let us know which is best for you - I have tried webcreation's and it worked fine, but not tested it in any great detail.

Check you have the SEO URL for your new language.

In Design > SEO URL, you should have a entry with a Key of language and the Value and Keyword being your language code.

I translate admin in English for a better understanding by the audience here

it looks like this:

And after domain URL is ...domain.com/vakantziya-v-bulgaria?route=product/product&language=bg

It's the entries with the key of "language" you need to check.
