To use the screen Admin/Configuration/Backup-Restore, I am assuming that if I click on Download back-up, my store will be saved to the hard drive of my computer and if I put a file name in the box next to Restore Backup, that would take a file off my computer hard drive. Is this correct?
I can hear you laughing....I am a newbie and I really, really don't want to screw anything up at this point since my store is finally up and running.

The backup/restore is in regards to your database only. Not the actual store files like php and tpl files. To back those up you would need to use ftp and copy the entire structure over to your local harddrive
