Pages randomly lost links in menu

I have an old site in Version 1.5.6.5_rc for some reason it has decided to display accurate links for some products using a link that looks like this.
When I click on another link from another category in the menu the url link looks like the link below and I get the Page error page.
If I manually type in the link as the top link, and put the correct page id number, it displays the category page accurately.
I am having this occur within working linked and non working liked categories for random products as well.
How can I sort this? any help or ideas would be welcome and appreciated.

Check your .htaccess file and SEO keywords. That %20 is a space. SEO keywords shouldn't have spaces in them.

You've been using OpenCart for more than 10 years and you didn't realise SEO URLs shouldn't have spaces in?

paulfeakins - This is the kind of "junk" that no one appreciates. I do know the seo for the pages shouldn't have spaces. You're response was neither helpful nor wanted at this point. The whole point is to provide help with a site that crashed itself. Thanks for responding but I think your assistance has reached the pinnacle of it's usefulness at this point.
All the best
Dave

Well I was just surprised as you've been running an OC site for over a decade.
Anyway, is the problem now fixed? If not could you provide your site URL?
