[SOLVED] Edit Missing Order to change to Completed issue

My client has an issue where a customer's order gets assigned to Missing Orders, but payment has been received and verified with PayPal. So, I want to change the Order Status to Complete. However, I cannot get past the first page because a telephone number is a mandatory field.

• Is there a way to allow an admin to NOT provide the telephone number and move on to the last page where the Order Status can be changed?

It appears that the "Missing Orders" happen because the customer puts a product in the cart but does not complete the order for up to a day or two later.
Another solution might be to disable Guest checkout altogether so they will have to provide the telephone number to place their order.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to best approach this problem?

I wrote a solution for that if you search the forum (and it is stated on that post why it is not ideal), but the easiest is to simply add 1234567890 in the required field ?

Frankly, I had thought of that, but assumed the numbers were checked for formatting, but I'm wrong.

You don't need to edit and order to change it's status. You can change the status in the Add Order History section when viewing an order.
