Hi Team, I have set up a new store and trying to sort out my currencies. I have 3 basic currencies like GBP, USD and EUR. I have the exchange rate provider and a valid API which works. The problem I have is with option called Currency Rate Engine (see screenshot). No idea what it is but when I try to refresh the exchange rates I keep getting error: No active Currency Rate Engine found! Any ideas?
Thanks
Bart

You are using a 3rd party extension which hasn't been upgraded to working with OpenCart 3.0.4.0.
Use the European Central Bank Currency Converter instead. You can install and enable the latter via the
Extensions > Extensions > Currency Rates > European Central Bank Currency Converter
and then choose it via the
System > Settings > edit Store > tab Local > Currency Rate Engine : European Central Bank Currency Converter

In my case, I don’t want to include EUR as a currency option on my website, as I only use USD and SAR. However, when I enabled the default exchange rate extension in OpenCart 3.0.4.0, I encountered the following message:JNeuhoff wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 5:43 pmYou are using a 3rd party extension which hasn't been upgraded to working with OpenCart 3.0.4.0.

"This extension requires the EUR currency to be an available currency."
It's surprising that a default extension provided with a fresh OpenCart installation only works with EUR.
You need the EUR currency, but it can be disabled so customers can't select it.psytanium wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 3:53 pmIn my case, I don’t want to include EUR as a currency option on my website, as I only use USD and SAR. You've added [SOLVED] to the wrong bit, I'll fix it.
