Evening all,
I hope you're all enjoying your summer?

I've a store running on another platform, but I'd like to put it on opencart as other OC stores I have always seem to run faster.

There's a number of things that are a must for me.

1) Users must login before they can place an order.
1a) Would also need ability to give users different autorization levels e.g. Normal users, Store Managers or Admin users.
2) I'd like the option to build bill of materials (BOMs) type products, where a product has multiple sub components that can be ordered.

Any guidance would be really appreciated.
Regards

The first two requirements are covered by default in Opencart. The third can be implemented with an extension.

Yes, OC is pretty fast.

What platform is it on currently?

As above those should be doable, 2 by default and 1 with an extension.
