I was trying to help someone out with this PayPal Checkout Integration

OC Version 2.3.0.2 condor version. PHP V 8.2.
Mine is working pretty good but I never had googlepay enabled. The person I was trying to help couldn't get it to work so I tried. I also can't get it to work.
Is there something I need to do in the extension or in my paypal account to get it to work?

It shows as a selection but when you click to pay it shows the cart but nothing further. i.e. no button to process the transaction.
I'm looking at the developer console and error logs and don't see anything yet.
Anyone know what I might be missing?

Well developer console tells the story: PayPalGooglePayError: Not Eligible for GooglePay Payments

Now where do I get this so I am eligible?

You need to ask PayPal to activate it on your account.

You need to ask PayPal to activate it on your account.

Interesting. I haven't directly dealt with paypal in forever and figured it would be somewhere in the admin interface to just turn it on.

Interestingly I went to paypal, "account settings" and I had to agree to a business thing I've already agreed to before. Then went down to "Payment methods" on the bottom of the left menu and lo and behold I see "Google Pay is active."
I didn't contact anyone nor did I make any changes except agreeing to that agreement again.
