After a long period of testing and adjusting, the new 3.0.4.0 version of OpenCart is released.

Why was it released?
Due the high demand of a stable OpenCart release which is compatible with php 8.2 (which should be used at least nowadays!), several developers reworked the last 3.0.3.9 release.
Fixed many bugs, added full compatibility for php 8.2 and much more.

Extensions and templates/themes for 3.0.3.9 should work - if they are developed correct with php 8.2 in mind!

Great news thank you very much for all the hard work. Will be upgrading to this version since I believe it's a more stable one for now. Not sure? My question is this version will work with what PHP version? All the way up to 8.4? Thank you

Up to php 8.3.x for sure, 8.4.x might be
