My Opencart 3.0.4.0 install has been working fine but I have just found out that customers who have created an an account are not able to log in.

They can go to /account/login and enter their details but the page just reloads with no error or any other messages. I don't know how long it has been like this but it was working back in May when I logged in with my test account. The site does still take orders and allow account creation.

I've checked phpinfo() and session.cookie_lifetime is set to "0" so it's not that issue.

Where do I check next?

Thanks!

What's your website URL? And your theme?

And were the customers' records created? Are from an upgrade? Or newly created ones on OC 3.0.4.0?

The site is https://omni-rf.com/ and is using the standard theme with some basic CSS changes. It was a new site back in March and nothing was migrated, just a clean install.

Customers are created and they receive their account activation email. The forgot password function also works. The login has been working but not anymore.

Just tested it, login does indeed fail. I noticed though that you are using a 3rd party email verification module which may cause this issue.

Thank you for taking the time to verify the issue for me. I have deactivated the email verification mod and tested but it still fails at login.

Well, since nobody else is able to reproduce this issue for OC 3.0.4.0, other than on your site, you may have to find a professional developer to look into it. Feel free to send us a message, or post on the commercial support section of this forum.

All fixed thanks to JNeuhoff. It seems that something had modified the catalog/controller/startup/session.php and catalog/controller/startup/startup.php files.

Thanks for everyone's help.
