Problem Paypal

Hello Support
We are noticing that for a few months when the customer chooses to pay with PayPal the screen does not open and returns to the beginning of the order. Is it a problem of PayPal that no longer accepts to confirm the payment or is it a problem of the version of Opencart (1.5.6) and php 5.4 ?

PayPal still works fine. I have several sites on OC1.5.6.5 taking payment by PayPal with no problems. You could try running on PHP7.4. Make sure you backup first. You'll need to change the encryption file and DB driver.

Check both the OpenCart and PHP error logs. Also check your web browser's developer for errors while checking out.

Have you contacted PayPal about this?
