Hello everyone,

I am using opencart 3.0.6. I am not a professional in using opencart.
I am examining and trying to learn by researching.

I want to increase the user experience by using Vue js with opencart 3.0.6 and increase the performance experience of my site and users.

I have searched the forum and a few vue-related packages have been recommended, but there is no current support for the packages.

I am waiting for your advice and guidance about the resources you can recommend to me or how I can use vue.js with opecart.

Please read the forum rules, and then try again. There's no OpenCart version 3.0.6. It may also be a good idea to get familiar with the MVCL design architecture of OpenCart first. No need to re-invent the wheel.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Thank you for your feedback. I wrote opencart version 3.0.3.6 incorrectly, but I corrected it after your feedback

Well, there is no 3.0.3.3.6 nor 3.0.6 version!

Well, there is no 3.0.3.3.6 nor 3.0.6 version!

I corrected it in the thread, I accidentally pressed one 3 button while I was writing you a comment and I said I was sorry, I don't understand why you made such a big deal out of it?

There is version 3.0.3.6 and reference the thread I fixed!

Sorry, my mistake. Anyway, why exactly do you want to use vue.js ? As opposed to the OpenCart MVCL, especially the OpenCart model and view, the latter already uses bootstrap, jquery, and json queries.

Thank you for understanding and helping me.

The reason why I need a technology like Vue.js is that in my existing opencart project, the site is slow in terms of opening speed and user experience because it is constantly reloaded in every page transition. This is the donut I get back from my customers. For example, when I add a control in the cart, it is very slow because the page is rebuilt until I switch to the payment screen after the confirm order button. In such cases, I am looking for a solution to improve user experience and site performance.

I think the main issue is your web theme. It uses unneeded calls to common/ajax/home and common/ajax/category from your home page or category page. Also, the initial page load speed is poor. This is usually a sign of a poor server hosting. Maybe add some caching extensions, and improved database indexing, there are plenty of forum threads on this.

Thank you for your information and guidance. I will search the forum and examine the topics you mentioned and refactor the relevant places.

Exploring Vue.js integration with OpenCart 3.0.6 to enhance site performance. Any tips or resources for a beginner? Also, interested in adding webcam functionality for improved user experience.

It’s great that you're exploring Vue.js to address the performance issues on your OpenCart site. Given the current setup, consider starting with Vue.js for specific interactive elements rather than overhauling the entire site. This can help you measure the impact on user experience without a full integration. Also, the extension link provided by OSWorX is worth checking out—it could offer a useful starting point for integrating Vue.js effectively.
