Missing telephone field

telephone is required on my site (4.0.2.3) checkout but i'm not seeing the info on order addresses nor the order details page. What am I missing???

In OpenCart 4, telephone field was made optional so just to be sure, did you already enable the "Telephone Display" and "Telephone Required" options at System » Settings » "Option" tab » "Accounts" section?

If yes, then you should be able to see the customer's telephone when viewing your orders in admin by clicking the gear button beside the "Customer" section (attached screenshot for reference). The telephone field should be there in the popup after clicking that button.
