I'm looking for a extension for OpenCart3 that I can select a category that I would like to hide, but the category and it's child categories and products must be hidden from the store, but still be accessible (SEO friendly).

Some examples:
1:
Structure: Main Category -> Sub-Category -> Sub-Sub-Category -> Products
In this case I would like to hide the Sub-Category and all it's child categories and products

2:
Structure: Main Category -> Sub-Category -> Sub-Sub-Category -> Products
In this case I would like to hide the Sub-Sub-Category and all it's child categories and products

Is there a extension that can give me this type of control over what to hide? the ones I can find only allow me to hide the products when they are out of stock and don't hide the categories as well.

If the extension can also update filter counts (e.g. if a Apple product is hidden, the filter count for apple updates), that would be great.

Doesn't make sense, please explain what you are trying to accomplish.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Essentially what I'm looking to accomplish is hiding all sub-categories and products from customers (but not from SEO), by just selecting the category.

In this extension I can select the categories I would like to hide when out of stock, which works but it doesn't hide that category.

Category Structure:

Code: Select all

Computers ->
			Dell ->
					Laptops
					Desktops
			Lenovo ->
					Laptops
					Desktops
			Apple ->
					Laptops
					Desktops
Phones ->
			Samsung
			Apple
			Google
Now lets say I want to hide the entire 'Lenovo' category, with it's sub-categories ('Laptops', 'Desktops') as well as all the products. With the above mentioned extension I can select the 'Lenovo' to be hidden, but all it hides is the products and not the categories ('Lenovo', 'Laptops', 'Desktops').

Does this clear it up for you?
