Is there a way to support AED currency? OpenCart 4.0.2.3

As the title says. I need a way to support AED currency.
When I try to add it (AED) as a currency, it makes the price conversion wrong. For example, when I change the currency to USD or INR, it will display a wrong price. What I figured out is that this happens because AED is not supported. Is there a way to be able to have AED currency along with USD and INR? Preferably easy to implement.

Perhaps you're trying to make it the default currency?
Perhaps you haven't set the conversion rate?
