Option not adding to Product

I am trying to add an option to a product but am having issues. I am able to added the option in Category->Option. However, when I go to the product Option tab and add the option, it disappears when I click the save button. I have tried modifying the max_input_vars value in php.ini and nothing works. No errors appear in any logs I have found. Is there something obvious I am missing. There are many other options on my products so this is not the first time doing this.

Better mention the exact OC-Version and Theme used, if you really expect help around here ...
And better kill your second posting about the same ...

This issue was been resolved. It was an issue with a module install that I did not understand. Please disregard and sorry for the double post.

No problem, please add [SOLVED] to the start of the this topic title if this is now fixed.
