I read on a different site that ocmod has been added back to 4.0.2.4, but I can't find mention of it here. Can anyone verify this?

Latest changes should not yet be publicized since it can regularly change until the official version has been released.

I still think using proper event handlers, and possibly decorator classes, are a more robust approach compared to OCmod-based modifications. Just look at the sheer number of daily cosmetic source code changes in the master branch, which are bound to break a few OCmod-based changes.
