Tying shipment options to products?

Hi there,

I've got a question regarding shipment.

In short: where do I adjust the settings properly?

What I've found is:
- Extension - Extension - Shipping

There I can find 5 settings, but apparently I am missing the option to add more.

What I need:

First of all, the option to tie a method of shipment to certain items.
Second, different options for different products.
Also I do not want the customer to be able to choose from any of the shipment options. (Hey - let me pick the cheapest option for your bulkiest products)

I cannot possibly offer a flatrate, as the price for the flatrate would skyrocket the costs for my cheapest products..

What can I do?

Ok, I just learned:
I cannot.
This apparently is NO option for the basic OpenCart.
Apparently not a single shop owner except me has got products for which different options tied to those products exclusively would make sense ...
And if I want to have this option I have to browse a store where I have to waste money on addons that have a chance of doing what I want - or maybe not. I don't know. And I cannot find out ...

Perhaps ask Jonathan at his clear thinking website whether he has such a shipping extension.

Are there any money-back options in case those things do not do what I want them to do?

Generally there is not once you've downloaded the extension. I would ask the developer if their extension is suitable before you purchase. Or look to see if there is a demo available.
