google anaylitics not adding code in 1.4.9.1

I have a site running in opencart and the google anaylitics code is not posting code to the site.

I have tried re-installing module with no avail.

I am thinking this may be a template issue as I am using a custom template - I am also contacting the template programmer.

Wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem.
Is there anyway I can post the code manually...

I have another site running on the same server with another installation of opencart 1.4.9.1 and the anaylitics works fine on that (different custom template)
