You’re using an older OpenCart PayPal extension

Paypal keeps sending me a message 'You’re using an older OpenCart PayPal extension' I am currently using the Paypal Payments Standard extension, the PayPal email I I receive suggests this extension and page: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... 0%E2%80%8B is this different to all of the other PayPal extensions preinstalled in Opencart? I am using v3.0.3.8 Opencart BTW and thanks in advance for any help/advice.

It's an update of the PayPal Commerce Platform payment extension that comes with OpenCart 3.0.3.8. It was renamed to PayPal Checkout Integration. If you are going to use it. Don't use the one included in 3.0.3.8 as it has many bugs and a security issue. Use the latest one from the marketplace.

For OpenCart 3, use the latest PayPal Integration from the OpenCart marketplace.

Daniel also just upgraded it to the latest PayPal Integration version in the 3.0.x.x branch, and in the new 3.0.3.9 release. The older PayPal methods (e.g. PayPal Standard, PayPal Express, etc) are now removed.
