I have added a user as a "demonstration" option but since doing so, i have been locked out as admin. I have confirmed that the password and user is correct and is also saved on my passwords list and still no joy in logging in. Can someone shed some light on this please?

You might be experiencing the timezone bug described here:

You can usually fix this by changing the default.php file:

Thank you for your swift response. Please can you assist in where i can do this. I am a small business and effectively one-man-band trying to wear many hats and programming is not one of them, sadly. I have gone through 1-Grid (the host for the website) into the Php files, but not a clue what i am looking at! Could you guide me by any chance please?

i will add on to Johnathans post, look here system >> config >> default.php (the look at line 14 and change if required) open with the default editor, you should see a editor within the php section top bar. open make the change and save. (always back up)

May I know which version of Opencart you are using?

It can make sense to have a freelance developer you use for stuff like this.

If you need to find a developer, you can post a request in the OpenCart "Commercial Support" forum, which is checked by a number of OpenCart developers. You can also try checking out the OpenCart "Partners" area.
