I've been approached by a local client who has had an online store with Opencart for many years, but just recently it stopped working. All pages just say Coming Soon.
https://www.contenthomeware.co.nz/ is the link.
Unfortunately their developer who created and managed the site sort of just up and left and didn't give them any instructions. All they have is the login to the backend.
I thought perhaps the domain had expired, but I managed to export all the products into a spreadsheet, and was able to access the images e.g https://www.contenthomeware.co.nz/image ... /79493.jpg so that says to me the domain is still connected and running?
Any ideas?
Make sure in the admin panel / system / settings / edit store / server tab / Maintenance mode is not On.

Hopefully you still got a backup of your OpenCart files, especially also for the 'index.php' and '.htaccess' files? Then you should be able to restore your website with these via FTP.

I was thinking the same. It looks like someone has put up a non WordPress holding page. I've worked on several WordPress sites and that does not look like a WordPress site in maintenance mode.ADD Creative wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:29 pmCheck the index.php hasn't been replaced with something else. Also check you htaccess for any added rewrite rules.
