[Solved] Order status drop boxes in admin panel are emtpy

All order status drop boxes in admin panel are empty and cant change / save settings cause the value is empty to im using latest opencart from github
4.0.2.2 i connected to my old database from my previous store is that the cause maybe would i need ot make a new DB? i assume new DB layout changed since codebase changed?

You can't just connect to a 3.x database, you would need to upgrade in someway.

how could i fix the tables so they compatible with 4.0.2.2
note the database is empty

If your database is empty just do a clean install.

just tried it with a new database and still have the same issue same with version 4.0.2.1
im using php 8.2.8 upgraded from 7xx something

Just thought... Maybe you tried to add another language? Have you done any additional moves after opencart initial install?

Nope no extensions no languages its just a clean install .
i did upgrade my php on my server and might done it wronly prehaps

It does not look like wrong server setup. That needs to be investigated.

when i install and have the overview of requirements its all correct i meet all checkboxes only im on php 8.2 and it says 8.0+ so that should be fine to no

tried switching from apache to nginx same issue,
anyone else has this issue idk what im doing wrong,

utf8mb4 and utf8mb4_general_ci
im using default settings for mariadb tbh only created a user and added permissions
