Hi all,

I have a problem.
With a fresh install of opencart there are no categories listed (and also no products).
When I installed opencart in the past, there were definetely categories listed.

The weird part is that the page shows multiple available tabs (1-4).

I have included a screenshot of the categories page.

Also, the frondend page looks fine (see the other screenshot).

I run the software on Fedora Server 38 with php 8.2

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

OpenCart 4.0.2.2 is still buggy. Do not use it for a production store. Instead, use a PHP 8 compatible version of 3.0.3.8:

How strange is that? OC v4.x releases are still under development...

Thanks for the help. It works.

I will use the 3.x maintenance branch for now.

I do not agree with the immediate answer to use OC 3.0.3.8 maintenance for everything. OC 4 does have a few small bugs, But it works just fine even with the Journal 3.2. I have OC4 running on Centos7, AlmaLinux8 and Ubuntu23 servers. 2 are dedicated servers and 1 is shared hosting.
