During a server move earlier this year the opencart/downloads folder was accidentally not transferred to the new home. The store is fairly old and rarely used so we didn't notice it for many months. In that interim someone apparently hit the sync downloads button and since there were no downloads it appears to have removed all of the linked downloads from each products Links tab. We now have hundreds of items in the store that have no downloads associated with them. Other than going in and manually relinking every one of them I was wondering if I was to copy the old product_to_download table and the download table and download_description tables from the old archived backup copy would this magically restore all of these missing downloads or am I just totally screwed?
We have only added one new item to the product catalog since the move. I am hoping we can restore the old download links then just re-add the new item.
Thank you for any insight or ideas you might have on this...
OC version. The quickest way would be to restore your backups while looking for the downloads folder that you moved accidently from your file server. From your backups, you could still find your downloads folder.
If the issue originates from the database, you can also look in your database backups.
