I'm testing the new Version 4.0.2.1. When I'm on the Create an Account or when I add a product to the cart and check-out to create an account the "Continue" button does nothing. I fill out all the fields, agree to the Privacy Policy and click continue, nothing happens...it keeps me on the same page instead of creating the account. This is a fresh install today. There are no errors on the Error.log.

Can anyone provide some help. this is the first issue I've run across testing.

Check your PHP error log as well as the OpenCart one. Also check your web browser's developer tool console for errors.

You need to find it. Sometimes it error_log where you uploaded OpenCart to. Otherwise ask your host or use phpinfo() to find it.

I think the issue is the Captcha. Captcha is not on the screen and I installed it. I also, updated Captcha in the Settings / Option tab for all the pages like, Create Account.
So, I uninstalled it and it still does not work.

I am having the same issue. The problem is... there is no error! I've looked in all the error logs.
The continue button is non-responsive. The page does not even refresh. Nothing

This was fixed in OpenCart 4.0.2.3. Also bear in mind none of the current OpenCart 4.0.x.x releases are suitable for live sites, there are still too many ongoing bugfixes and development changes going on there.

The MB version should fix the issue with the customer login.

Have you check both the OpenCart and PHP error logs as well as your web browser's developer tool console for errors?

It's frustrating when I can't sign up for a new customer account. The process seems unclear. And I encountered bugs along the way. Clearer instructions or better error handling would make a big difference. A smooth registration experience is essential to attracting and retaining new users.

I to am having the exact same issue. Fresh install of Opencart. No error logs in either Opencart or on the server..
When you click the continue button nothing happens. 4.0.2.3 .. Has anyone figured this out.? I have disabled all extensions.

While OpenCart 4.0.2.3 has a number of know bugs, customer registration isn't one of them, the latter works fine.

However, for a live website you should use OpenCart 3.0.4.0, because OpenCart 4 is still subject to development and many bugfixes in general.

Thank you for that response. It should say that in the download section so others know.
Now is there an easy way to go back or we just need to dump everything and start over ?

Fresh install of OC 3.0.4.0 is advised. You can copy over the product data (and other data) from a different OC version if you have installed the free Export/Import tool on both sites, see also our FAQ. After that, install any other extension as needed.
