Well I am at my wits end with this theme issue.
My Site currently works great no bugs no issues things work. However I am trying to add some new features like Apple pay, ect. If I go to Extensions then modifications and do an update or a clear all hell breaks lose and site goes down on both back end and front end.
Any help would be great.

1. Look for the "config.php" file
2. Ensure that the path specified for "DIR_STORAGE" is correct
3. If the path is incorrect, update it with the correct path to the storage folder

This was solved it was the template and it needed a vqmod fix.
