Well yes, the error message is clear enough. Ask your webhost to increase the available disk space, you may to to pay a little more for an increased disk space allowance for your webhosting account.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Thanks, I have unlimited disk space, however, there are only a about 100 products and the database is only 4.5mb

There is no such thing as unlimited disk space. Best to contact your host to look into.

There seem to be more-and-more people posting on the Bug Reports section of the forum while their case has nothing to do with it...

Thanks, here is what I have received from my hosting company (InMotion Hosting):

There is not a limit on the size of your account on our shared platform, so I am unsure how you are receiving this error. It is possible that the software is incorrectly trying to write to a specific file or area which you do not have permission to write to. you will want to consult the support team for the software you are attempting to use.

All those folders have 0755 and all the files in the db have 0644 permision.

If you did too many backups, try to delete the older ones or move them elsewhere.

The issue is caused by your database trying to write a file to /tmp. It will be a temporary file and not the actual database file. It's also possible that the /tmp folder does not use the same space as the files on your hosting and has its own limits.

It's not OpenCart writing the files it's you database server, probably MariaDB vs MySQL. Unless you were the one who installed the database server, I would go back to your host.
