Hello

I tryed many times a new install about the new releases.
Since 4.0 is there its insane what you have to do for a clean install.
Error 1: Required 8+ php
Error 2: Timeloader error, there you need to remove the error around line 91
Than you can install.
Than installing ocmods. Dowload the latest version that says 4.x, but not 1 works.
Error JSON
Should be 5 second install on previous versions, sadly now its insane and i dont go further in this for wasting time to get a working webshop.

Why they messed all things up?
I know many will leave this and looking for other webshop opensource. Opencart lost a lot of his quality.
Its for me time to stop with opencart.
It was good till 3.0, but now its really insane, also for module devs its mad.

Just wanted to say this and wish you all good luck with 4.0 version.
Regards

It has been said many times on the forum that OC v4.x releases are not official yet.

Dedication and passion goes to those who are able to push and merge a project.

Well, nobody told anyone, to move up to the latest Version, and most People, frequently visiting the Forum, know well, that newest OC-Releases always have to be tested and fixed first, before they can be called 'Production-Ready'. And OC comes for free, so, there is not a single good reason, to move up from a working OC-Installation, just to belong to the first one's, and then complain, if they find out, that it's just to early, to use it as planned.
