OC3.0.3.2
I have happily been developing my shop but now have a 503 error each time I wish to go into Extensions and choose my extension type to enable new addons from the OC marketplace. I have refreshed cache and logged out and back in but no joy. I am running PHP7
Any ideas please?
Is it it possible to enable extensions through the code somewhere?

thanks

Common causes for a 503-error are a server that is down for maintenance or that is overloaded.

If you are serious about running an ecommerce site, do yourself a favor and look for a more professional webhost, we wouldn't recommend Godaddy.

I accidentally ended up on GoDaddy (web host sold out, then sold out again and is now white label GoDaddy) and although not terrible, there are enough annoyances that I will be moving that particular hosting account elsewhere.

I would suggest doing the same, but before you pick a new one, google them, 99% (made up number but probably not far from the truth) of web hosts are now owned and badly run by a few main companies such as EIG: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endurance ... onal_Group

There have definitely been a lot of buyouts by the larger conglomerates. Hosting is a tough market with razor thin margins.

Unless you can find customers who are willing to pay for a better service.
