Hello everyone,
I am writing to you after trying countless options to solve this problem..
A week ago I transferred the data of a live website to a local xampp server, to change the theme and make various changes. Everything went well until I started to configure the menu.

When I click on any tab in the menu on the homepage, it redirects me to https://localhost/dashboard/, the same happens when I click on the logo on the homepage.
I mention that it is about OpenCart Version 3.0.3.6.

Below are the steps I took.
I made a backup copy of the live website, checked the compatibility of the new theme, copied the data from public_html to htdocs, created a new database in PHPMyAdmin and imported the database from the live website, made all the changes required in config.php and in admin/config.php, I have checked them 1000 times, they are correct.
I checked the .htaccess file to see if there are rewrite rules. They are and they are correct. It converts all http urls into https. I mention that I can log in or view the site only on https, not on http.
I uninstalled most of the extensions. I uninstalled the old theme.
I checked in php.ini if the mod_rewrite, mysqli, pdo_mysql extensions are activated and they are.
Unfortunately, the problem persists and I don't know what to do.

Please help me out of this impasse….

Try setting your config to http, not https and remove your htaccess. Unless you have made you own certificates https is likely to cause problems on a localhost.

Thank you very much for your help. It worked.
I made the following settings:
I selected from the main menu System-settings-server - SEO URL - OFF - Use SSL - OFF. Then I went incognito, using the http protocol.
