Breadcrump on product page

Hi everyone,

Does anybody knows how to add in the breadcrump the category corresponding to the product displayed on the product page ?

It will allow the user to go back on the category related to the product.

It's somewhat of an oddity that I've noticed too

If you click on a product from the Home page the bread crumb shows as :
Home -> Product 1
But if you click on that product from the category that it is in it shows it as:
Home -> Category 1 -> Product 1

I'm not really sure the best way to fix that off hand.

It makes sense to me
Person went from Home > Product so the breadcrumbs they left behind go from Home > Product
The same happens when there are sub categories, the breadcrumb depends on how they accessed that page

The one I don't like is the multiple URLs that lead to the same page. That one could be considered to be duplicate content in Google's eyes.

This is an issue I am concerned with...

I've not yet worked out the best way to approach this.
